Catalysing Fayre Labs: From NFT Marketplace to Brand Engagement Powerhouse

Fayre Labs set out to redefine how brands and fans connect in the web3 era. Part NFT marketplace, part fan‑activation hub, Fayre equips creators and companies with tools to launch and manage fan clubs - turning NFTs into versatile assets across real‑world events, online communities, and virtual worlds.

 

In August 2021, an old Silicon Roundabout colleague joined as Strategic Advisor to accelerate Fayre’s growth through its critical Token Generation Event (TGE) and beyond, guiding the business through a feverish NFT bull run.

The Challenge

At launch, Fayre faced a crowded NFT landscape rife with hype but short on proven utility. Two key challenges emerged:

01. Rapid Capital Needs:

To build and scale the platform, Fayre required significant crypto funding in a market where investor attention shifted daily.

02. Brand Credibility & Momentum:

Securing household‑name partners was essential to validate Fayre’s vision - but brands were cautious about affiliating with untested web3 propositions.

The Solution

Our advisory approach was twofold: fast‑track capital raises while lining up high‑profile brand and celebrity collaborations to sustain momentum.

Accelerated Fundraising:  

We orchestrated five separate investment rounds in under three months, tapping into both crypto‑native investors and traditional VCs. The strategy blended urgency around the TGE with clear value propositions—showcasing how Fayre’s fan‑club tools would deliver ongoing utility beyond collectible speculation.

Strategic Brand Partnerships:

We activated on‑platform buzz through collaborations with culturally resonant creators and brought the brand to life at events such as Brazil’s Carnival.

Operational Scaling & Network Activation:
By curating content series in comedy, music, fitness, and sports, we tapped into new audience segments. Our team worked closely with influential creators in each vertical, embedding Privacy into existing communities and cross‑promoting content across platforms to build holistic brand awareness.

Within nine months - from August 2021 to April 2022 - Fayre achieved:
